Making a good cup of coffee is not just by chance; you need to know the basics to get it right time after time. A skilled Barista is an essential asset. A poorly trained one is a liability to safety and your businesses reputation.


From selecting the right blend of coffee, to setting the grinder to get the right dose, extract espresso properly, and the ability to accurately froth milk to different consistencies; These are cornerstones of a good Barista and essential to the success of your coffee business.


We want your investment to reap all of the financial rewards possible for your business. We will provide on-site training for you and select members of your staff in the safe, economical and epicurean way to use your new machine. We will also demonstrate the correct daily maintenance and cleaning required to keep your machine working flawlessly.


More importantly, our technicians will go through the procedures and show you how to make those beautiful cups of coffee, to any recipe, time and time again.


Barista Basics Training

Our Basic Barista Training takes place in your own establishment using your own machinery and equipment. This is particularly useful for those establishments who only need the most basic training in coffee, the safe use of the brewing equipment and cleaning.


The course lasts 1-2 hours and covers the following information:


Coffee Beans: Different blends and roasts and how to ascertain if coffee is fresh, versus stale


The Grinder: Different types of grinders, how to grind and dose and cleaning of the grinding and dosing equipment.


MACHINE: How to use safely, what to look for in machine performance, an introduction to the most popular espresso drinks, how to make these to recipe and finally cleaning and maintenance of your machine.
